Hola!!
This week was so great, and I really saw the Lord's hand in my life as I accepted a challenge this week from my aunt to look for the tender mercies.
We started off the week by having quite a few fall out appointments. But because we were in the areas, we knocked doors and met a lot of potential investigators! It was so cool to see how the Lord works sometimes in mysterious ways, but it was great to see His hand in it all. I know that although missionary work is hard, as well as life, if we see and recognize the tender mercies we will have a better attitude and more joy and success.
At the end of the week, we had visited a woman named Macaria in the morning, I have talked about her in previous emails, and she has been going through a lot in her family. She really wants to be baptized, but because of family situations it hasn't been possible. She is so cute though she sleeps with the BoM under her pillow so the Lord can help her remember the things she studied. Anyways we shared a quick message and then left. Then later that night, we were in her complex going to an appointment with a referral. It fell through, and we were going to go to tract in a different place because her complex has been tracted a lot, but for some reason we felt like we needed to stay. We then were about to get out of the car, when we felt like we needed to call her. She answered, and was in tears telling us that she really needed support. We luckily were super close by and were able to run there and help her. It was a tender mercy that we were able to help her that night, and I know the Lord puts us places for a reason. Please pray for her!
This week we also had zone conference, which was amazing. Elder Alba from the 70 came to speak as well as his cute wife. It was so great to get guidance and counsel from them, and I know that the Lord will always answer our questions.
