This is a drought?

Hola everyone!

Apparently there was a drought going on in Georgia. I never would have guessed haha because everything is always so green and it still seems to rain a lot. But I guess prayers were answered because on Sunday it rained buckets. And I mean buckets man it was so insane. But honestly pretty fun, and since we were tracting literally all day we got offered a lot of umbrellas haha. People are really kind. :)
Well this week actually wasn't too eventful, I'm honestly not sure where to start. I guess the coolest thing this week was when we got to listen to Elder Uceda from the 70 come to our stake! We were able to meet him and it was so amazing! I know that as we listen to prophets and their apostles, we will be able to receive personal revelation and answers to our prayers! I challenge everyone to prayerfully read a conference talk a week and I know that you will be able to receive guidance and peace.
Another cool thing, was that we had a really cool investigator come to the conference! Technically he isn't ours because he is english speaking and we had to pass him to the elders haha but we tracted into him and taught him the Restoration so it was so cool to see him there! He said he felt the spirit so strongly, and me and Hna Ramirez were so happy!
This week we also had exchanges and I went to an English area! It was weird going to church and talking to people there in English to be honest haha. And I realized how hard it is being an English missionary. I realized how much I truly love the Hispanic culture. They are always so kind, know how to party, and let's not even mention the food. Dang. So good.
Haha well not much else happened this week, we have just been teaching the same people and tracting and trying to find people that are ready to make these changes in their lives that will help them draw closer to the Savior.
I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be here and I'm also so grateful for all your love and support! You guys are all the greatest.

He is Risen!

Hey everyone!

Feliz Pascua! I hope that everyone had a great week and had time to reflect on the amazing sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His resurrection. I am so grateful for Him and this gospel and the knowledge that I can be with my family forever! I know that it is true!

Haha on Sunday we got a call from the other sisters early in the morning and they just said, "He is risen! Happy Easter!" And then hung up. Haha but seriously, He is risen and because of that we can all rise again someday too. I'm so grateful for that!

This week we had a lot of cool miracles, and I am so grateful for the Lord letting me be a part of this great work. One cool thing that happened this week, was Macaria, (the woman who was supposed to be baptized but had family issues) was able to meet with us again! It's a long story, but we finally were able to see her again! We showed her the Restoration video and she LOVED it!

As far as tracting and finding new investigators goes, this week we decided to go to a complex but it was gated. We had planned to be there though, so we parked at the leasing office and walked in after a car, haha stealth mode. Once in, we prayed to know what complex to knock, and that night we found 3 new investigators! It was such a miracle! When we follow what we have planned and find by the spirit, the Lord will bless us with success! No matter what we have to overcome to get there. :)

This week we did a lot of biking, which is harder than it looks in a skirt. Haha but I'm starting to get the hang of it, and it was a fun new way to talk to people and contact them.

On Sunday we had two of our investigators at church, and a few less actives, which was so amazing! One of our investigators, Luis, brought his son and they both loved it. The other one, Felipe, really loved it as well and we are so excited that they were all able to feel the spirit and show their love to God by coming to church.

This week was fantastic, and even though the heat and mosquitoes were against us, (I now have a running total of 23 mosquitoes bites), we had a lot of success and felt the spirit a lot this week.

I love this work and I love all of you!

It's snowing in Georgia!

So this is where I live, and the view we have, it's super duper nice, I'm super blessed. Then the dog is an investigators cute puppy haha. And the woman is a super sweet member.

Hey everyone!

Well yes, the weather has been crazy in Georgia as per usual, and this week it snowed. Yellow snow. I'm serious, pollen from the trees completely covered cars, railings, the ground, it's so crazy! And another danger from the yellow snow, are the bees! They are humongous! Not gonna lie, Hermana Ramirez and I have ran from them haha looking a little like idiots, but it's aight.
But yeah I am grateful for the yellow snow though, because it is beautiful here all the green trees, bushes, and colorful flowers that are growing. I still miss the mountains, but Georgia ain't too bad at making up for it with the gorgeous terrain.
Wow well where to start for this week, I guess first of all, I absolutely love being a missionary and the sacred calling that it is! This week we had the opportunity to be answers to lots of prayers, and I am so glad the Lord can work through us to accomplish great things!
This Thursday we were going to meet with Luis, a really awesome progressing investigator, but he got sick so we had to cancel plans. We were pretty bummed, but decided to pray and see where we should go. We decided to head to an apartment complex and started knocking doors. The very first door we knocked, a woman opened and came outside. We talked to her and then showed her the Easter video. She loved it, and said that she has been praying to God for help and for a church, and then we came knocking! It was so cool, and I was so grateful we followed the prompting of the spirit to go knocking so we could meet her.
Next, this Friday we had service at NFCC, which is kind of like the DI and the food pantry put together. We love serving there and meeting people there, and this week a super nice man there gave us a whole bag of food! He always gives treats to us, but this was like a whole pie, a ton of cinnamon rolls, some cookies, and lots of other things. He insisted on us taking it, so we did, but we knew we wouldn't eat it all. We decided to visit a part member family, and give it to them. When we got there, we sat down and had a lesson with them. Then one member, Irma, who is a recent convert, started bearing her testimony. She said that she had been praying so hard for someone to bring food. They didn't have any food left, and she couldn't feed her children or grandchildren. She said when she saw us walking up with all the food she knew her prayers were answered.
I am beyond blessed to have a part in this great work of the Lord. I know that He hears and answers prayers, and I also know that it is so important to always act on promptings.
I love you all and am so grateful for all your love and support!
Con mucho amor,

Hey everyone!!

This week was a blast and a half here in georgia! We had a lot of fun, Hermana Ramirez and I finding new people to teach. We set a goal at the beginning of the week to have 70 meaningful contacts. We didn't quite reach the goal, because we didn't take into account conference, but we were working super hard to accomplish it and we definitely saw the blessings! We found a lot of really cool people that we are excited to begin teaching.

This week we were able to teach a really cool lesson to a really cool investigator. His name is Luis and he is such an amazing man! We had to hear opportunity to teach him the plan of salvation, and it was one of the most spiritual experiences I have had on my mission so far. I know that we can be together with our families forever, and that knowledge is such a blessing in my life! It was so powerful to see his eyes light up as we testified how we can live with God and our families forever. It is something he truly desires, and we are excited that he is progressing so quickly and hope that he can be baptized soon!

Conference this week was also so so fantastic. If you haven't had the chance to hear all the talks, look them up on lds.org! We are so blessed to have the opportunity to hear the Lord speak to us through His servants, I know that what they testify of is true! Conference can answer any question that we have and is for everyone! I can't choose favorite talks, but as I was listening I felt an overwhelming sense of God's love for me and for each of us. We can't comprehend it, and I know that I will never be able to. It's amazing how deeply He loves us even when we don't deserve it. I am so grateful for the gospel and for the plan of happiness that God has prepared for us because He loves us so much.

I hope that you guys all have a fantastic week, I love you all so much! Thank you for the emails and support!

Con mucho amor,
Hermana Frank
